Daud "Cino" Yordan (born 10 June 1987) is an Indonesian professional boxer and the former IBO Featherweight and Lightweight Champion. He is now the WBO Asia-Pacific and Africa Lightweight Champion. He ranked 10th in the Lightweight according to BoxRec. His main aim right now is to win the WBO Lightweight Title.

Early life and family

Daud was born in Ketapang, West Borneo, Indonesia on 10 June 1987. He is the fifth child of six children to Hermanus Lai Cun, a Chinese father and Natalia, a Dayak mother.

His former trainer, Carlos Jesus Renate Tores from Cuba give his nickname Cino (Chino in Spanish). Since then he is always known by the nickname.[1]

Professional career

Yordan fought for the WBA featherweight title against Chris John on 17 April 2011 held at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta where he lost by unanimous decision.[2]

Yordan won the vacant International Boxing Organization featherweight title by defeating Lorenzo Villanueva at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on 5 May 2012.
