Desmopuntius hexazona, commonly known as the six-banded tiger barb, is a species of cyprinid fish native to Southeast Asia, from the Mekong drainage basin along the Malay Peninsula to Sumatra and Borneo. This species reaches a length of 5.5 centimetres (2.2 in) TL. It can also be found in the aquarium trade.[1]
