Destiny Rose is a Filipino drama series broadcast by GMA Network starring Ken Chan, Katrina Halili and Fabio Ide. It premiered on September 14, 2015 replacing Healing Hearts on the network's GMA Afternoon Prime afternoon block, and worldwide aired via GMA Pinoy TV on September 15, 2015.[1][2][3] The show ended on March 11, 2016 replaced by The Millionaire's Wife complete 26 week with the total of 130 episodes overall.
Dubbed as Philippine TV's most beautiful transformation, this heart-warming tale of love and family will beautifully demonstrate that in one's ability to love also lies great power to become the person one dreams to be.[4][5]
Plot
The story of Joey Flores-Vergara, a woman trapped in a man's body. Throughout his life, he only dream and hoped to be punctual for his parents. Despite the fact that everyone around him was against his personal desires and wishes, he continued to be a loving and obedient son.
A passionate student and a loving son, Joey struggled through various obstacles in life but continued to be patient and understanding. All the positive qualities outweigh challenges and Joey will become a stronger person in her new life as Destiny Rose.
Over time, Joey will face more challenges in his journey to becoming a renowned writer and a full-fledged woman. Joey is now known as Destiny Rose.
Now as Destiny Rose has fulfilled her dreams, all he wanted was to love his life and for his family to be complete once again.

Destiny Rose was the afternoon drama that debuted on September 14 as a replacement to Healing Hearts. Ken Chan topbills Destiny Rose, wherein he portrays a transgender woman. The pilot episode of Destiny Rose got a TV rating of 14.8% against ABS-CBN’s Mission Possible, which registered 8.9%.[6]
