DeVon Franklin (born April 13, 1978) is an American author, film producer,[1] preacher and motivational speaker. He serves as President/CEO of Franklin Entertainment, a new first-look production company with Sony Pictures Entertainment. He was formerly the Senior Vice President of Production at Columbia Pictures and a studio executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

Personal life
Franklin is Christian (Seventh-Day Adventist). He graduated from University of Southern California with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Cinema-Television.[3] He currently lives in Los Angeles with wife, Meagan Good, whom he married on June 16, 2012 in Malibu, California.[4]
