Robert Duane "Dewey" Halford is an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Coach Halford was the head college football coach for the Morningside Mustangs located in Sioux City, Iowa. He held that position for 19 seasons, from 1955 until 1973. His coaching record at Morningside was 73 wins, 92 losses and 3 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #2 at Morningside in total wins and #10 at the school in winning percentage (.443).[2]
