Robert Van Horne was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Coach Robert Van Horne was the first head college football coach for the Morningside Mustangs located in Sioux City, Iowa. He held that position for the 1898 and 1900 seasons (there was no team on record for the 1899 season^[1]). His coaching record at Morningside was 2 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie.As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #20 at Morningside in total wins and #12 at the school in winning percentage (.417).^[2]
