Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex (EKCC) is a minimum and medium-security prison located in West Liberty, Kentucky. It opened in February 1990 and had a prison population of 1,689 as of 2007.
In March 2016 the prison was preventing its inmates from receiving LGBT-related publications such as The Advocate and Out.[1]
