Etawah Wildlife Safari Park

Etawah Wildlife Safari Park or Lion Safari Etawah is an upcoming drive-through wildlife safari park. The safari is coming up in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, the hometown of Akhilesh Yadav, the incumbent Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The wildlife officials entrusted with this project visited Longleat Safari Park, England for inspiration.^[1]

Project updates

April 2014: a pair of Asiatic lions were shifted to this safari from Lucknow Zoo.^[2]
September 2014: the safari park gets third pair of Asiatic lions.^[3]
