Forfeit Thee Untrue are a South African Christian metal band, while they make metalcore music, and they started making music together in 2006. They have released one studio album, Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam (2016), with Rottweiler Records, and an extended play, Blood Soaked Splinter (2013), with Sanctus Gladius Records.
Background
The band originated in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa, where they formed in 2006, with their current members being lead vocalist and guitarist, Gideon Karsten, lead guitarist and background vocalist, Mitch Pearson, bassist, Eckard van Tonder, and drummer and percussionist, Craig Palmer.[3]
Music history
Their first release, Blood Soaked Splinter, an extended play, was released on 16 April 2013, by Sanctus Gladius Records.[4][5][6] The band are signed to Rottweiler Records, on 1 April 2016, they released, Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam, a studio album.[7] When asked what the translation of Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam was, Guitarist Mitch Pearson answered "The Cremation of Jesus' Tears".[8]
