Gasan Radzhabovich Magomedov (Russian: Гасан Раджабович Магомедов; 17 January 1994 – 4 January 2015) was a Russian football player who played as a midfielder for FC Anzhi-2 Makhachkala.
Club career
Magomedov made his professional debut in the Russian Professional Football League for FC Anzhi-2 Makhachkala on 12 August 2014, in a 2–1 Second Division win against FC Alania Vladikavkaz.[1]
Death
On 4 January 2015, Magomedov was shot dead in front of his parents' home in Dagestan. An investigation is underway. No claim of responsibility or reason for the killing has been made.[2] A suspect was arrested in mid-January 2015. Allegedly, Magomedov was not the intended target of the shooting.[3]
