George Haldane-Duncan, 4th Earl of Camperdown

George Alexander Philips Haldane Duncan (9 May 1845 − 5 December 1933) was the fourth and last Earl of Camperdown.[1][2] He married Laura Dove Blanchard in 1888 and lived in Boston from then until his death there in 1933. He inherited the title in 1918 when his older brother, the 3rd Earl, died. Although he took the title, he declined the associated inheritance, and arranged for it to go to other younger members of the family. He was involved with the British firm Mawdley Sons & Field, which made marine engines.[1]
