Glasgow Citybus[1] is a Scottish bus operator, operating 10 bus routes in Glasgow and Dunbartonshire under contract to Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.
History
Glasgow Citybus was formed in November 1999 by Russell Arden.
In 2006 it was sold to West Coast Motors.[2] In January 2008 the Glasgow City Sightseeing[3] open top tour franchise was purchased.[4][5]
In March 2012 the business of John Morrow was purchased.[6]
In April 2015, Glasgow Citybus commenced operating the route 398 shuttle service between Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street stations under contract to Abellio ScotRail.[7]
Fleet
As at August 2013 the fleet consisted of 48 buses.[8]
