Pearson English Business Solutions, formerly GlobalEnglish Corporation is an American technology company that was founded in 1997 by Reece Duca, Stephen Patrick and Martin Rice. It is owned by Pearson PLC.

GlobalEnglish provides on-demand enterprise solutions to support global business performance through effective Business English communication. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, and has offices in over 30 countries.

Over the years, the company has been the recipient of awards including the Deloitte Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Silicon Valley award[1][2] and the Inc. 5000 award for one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies[3][4] in Silicon Valley. In 2013 the GlobalEnglish Product Suite won the 2013 CODiE Award[5] in education technology for the Best Corporate Learning/Workforce Development Solution.

The Company announced its pending acquisition by Pearson PLC (LSE: PSON), in May 2012 in an all-cash transaction and was officially acquired by Pearson on July 5, 2012.
