Gorzyce [ɡɔˈʐɨt͡sɛ] is a village in Tarnobrzeg County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Gorzyce.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Tarnobrzeg and 72 km (45 mi) north of the regional capital Rzeszów.
Gorzyce has a population of 7,500, making it the sixth largest village in Poland, though following the information from 1 September 2011, there are 15 642 people living in Gmina Gorzyce, and 10 005 people living in Gorzyce, that makes 72,81 % of Gmina Gorzyce population.
