Greg Vavra (born February 19, 1961) is a former Canadian football quarterback who played five seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Calgary Stampeders,[1] BC Lions and Edmonton Eskimos. He played CIS football at University of Calgary and attended Bishop Grandin High School in Calgary, Alberta. Vavra and the Calgary Dinos won the 19th Vanier Cup in 1983, with Vavra being awarded the Hec Crighton Trophy.
