Biography

Hemanth Menon (born 19 April 1989) is an Indian film actor who works in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut in 2010 in the film Living Together (film).[1] He has since performed in films such as Doctor Love (film) (2011), Ordinary (film) (2012), 'Chattakkari', 'Chapters' and 'Thomson Villa'.[2][3][4][5]

Early Life

Hemanth's initial schooling was at FMEMHS Tirur & PKMMHSS Edarikode. He studied B. Tech from College of Engineering, Vatakara (formerly Co.operative Institute of Technology, Vatakara), an affiliated college of CUSAT University. Hemanth used to sing in his college days and was not at all into acting. He was introduced to Mr. Fazil by Mr. Rajan Joseph (son of late actor Jose Prakash). Rajan Joseph, who was a friend of Mr. Fazil met Hemanth during a train journey and informed him about Fazil and his search for a new hero for his new project. He sent pictures which he took on the same train to Mr. Fazil, who called upon Hemanth for an audition and selected him for that role from around 500 aspirants after teaching him the basics of acting.

Personal Life

Hemanth Menon was born to Suresh Kumar & Usha on 19 April 1989 in Tirur. He started his schooling in Banglore where his father was working. Later, his family shifted to Tirur in Malappuram. Hemanth also has an elder sister named Divya who participated in 2crore Apple Megastar & is now settled in Sydney with her husband Sooraj and child Sarang.
