Hob Hiller

Harvey Max "Hob" Hiller (May 12, 1893 – December 27, 1956) was a reserve infielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1920 through 1921 for the Boston Red Sox. Listed at 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m), 162 lb., Hiller batted and threw right-handed. He was born in East Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania.

In a two-season career, Hiller was a .167 hitter (5-for-30) with four runs and two RBI in 18 games, including one double and one triple. Hiller did not hit a home run. As a defensive player, he made 13 infield appearances at third base (6), shortstop (5) and second base (2), and also played one game at right field.

Hiller died in Lehighton, Pennsylvania at age 63.
