Holwell Sports Football Club is a football club based in Asfordby Hill, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England. They are currently members of the East Midlands Counties League and play at Welby Road.

History

Established in 1904. In 1988, Holwell Works F.C. changed their name to their present name of Holwell Sports. They reached the 2nd round of the FA Vase three times in their history, the last time was thanks to goals from Gary Drake and Leigh Fox and a man of the match performance from fans favourite Andy Teare. They currently play in the East Midlands Counties League, having joined from the Leicestershire Senior League at the end of the 2007–08 season.
