"I Feel So Bad" is a song written and originally recorded by Chuck Willis in 1953.
A version of the song was recorded by Elvis Presley on March 12, 1961 in RCA Studio B, in Nashville, TN.[1] Presley recorded a version of the song following the arrangements by Willis and his singing style. Presley's version reached No.5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1961[2] and No.15 on Billboard's Top 20 R&B Singles chart the same year.[3] The song, which was released on a AA-sided single in the UK (c/w "Wild in the Country"), reached No.4 on the UK singles chart, also in 1961.
