The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur also known as IIM Nagpur is a public business school located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.[1]

It is one of the nineteen Indian Institutes of Management. The institute became operational in July 2015. The institute is currently being mentored by Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.[2] It was inaugurated by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Miniter of Maharastra State.[3] The institute currently offers the two-year post graduate programme (PGP). It was the first among the six Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Government of India to begin its operations.[4][5]

Academics

IIM Nagpur offers Post Graduate Programme (PGP), which is equivalent to the MBA. PGP at IIM Nagpur is a general, fully integrated management programme and includes courses in accounting, behavioral sciences, finance, economics, human resource management, marketing, business operations, public policy, strategy and general management.[6]

Student initiatives

In its very first year, students of IIM Nagpur organized their maiden entrepreneurship conference, Initiative in Central India Towards Entrepreneurship, by inviting prominent panelist from the startup world.[7] In the second year, students organized their maiden human resources conclave, ILLUME, by inviting experts from Future Group, Lenovo, Lafarge, Shopclues, Kotak Life Insurance, Housing.com among others.[8]
