Jayhawk (formerly, Jay Hawk)^[2] is an unincorporated community in El Dorado County, California.^[1] It is located 6.5 miles (10 km) southwest of Coloma,^[2] at an elevation of 1161 feet (354 m).^[1]

A post office operated at Jay Hawk from 1860 to 1865.^[2]
