Jim McPhie

James "Jim" McPhie (25 August 1920 – 2002) was a Scottish footballer, who played for and managed Falkirk. McPhie, who was born in Bonnybridge, played as a full-back for Falkirk either side of the Second World War. McPhie represented the Scottish League once, in 1948.[1] He retired as a player in 1953. McPhie managed Falkirk for six games in 1957, after Bob Shankly moved to Dundee. McPhie was replaced by Reg Smith.
