Jitpur is a village development committee in Bara District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2572 people living in 607 individual households. It has a well-maintained buffalo market. Jitpur is a fast-growing town, the main occupations of local people being business and farming.
It is surrounded by twenty villages so it is famous for marketing. Many small and middle-scale industries have been established in past five years and still companies yet to come because of better of manpower, near to Kathmandu valley and most important nearer to India Custom.
