Representative John Spiros (born July 28, 1961 in Akron, Ohio) is an American businessman and politician. He and his wife Rebecca live in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Spiros served in the United States Air Force for six years and was part of an elite security squad that provided protection for 26 generals and the command center for the Strategic Air Command. After leaving the service, he served as a police officer and he was in the transportation industry for 24 years.
Prior to his 2012 election to the Wisconsin State Assembly,[1][2] Spiros served as a member of the Marshfield City Council for eight years and was President of the Council in 2009. He also served as the Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee for five years. He is on the Board of Directors for the Central Wisconsin State Fair and has served on the Marshfield Industrial Park Commission for seven years.[3]
