Jon Nolan (born 22 April 1992) is an English footballer who plays for Chesterfield as a midfielder.

Career

Early career

Nolan began his career with Everton's academy before he entered non-league football with Stockport County in 2011. He then spent three years at Lincoln City during which time he had a spell on loan at Wrexham.

Grimsby Town

In January 2016, Nolan joined National League side Grimsby Town on a contract until the end of the season, helping them to play off triumph over Forest Green Rovers, and promotion to League Two.[1]

Chesterfield

In May 2016 Nolan joined League One side Chesterfield on a free transfer after his Grimsby contract expired.[2] Nolan made his Football League debut on 6 August 2016 in a 1–1 draw away at Oxford United.[3]
