Joseph R. Nolan

Joseph R. Nolan (June 1925 April 23, 2013) was an American jurist.

Nolan served in the United States Navy during World War II. He then received his bachelors and law degrees from Boston College. He served as a district and superior judge in Massachusetts. In 1980, Nolan was appointed to the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Then in 1981, Nolan was appointed to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court serving until his retirement in 1995.[1][2]
