Kōya no Shōnen Isamu (荒野の少年イサム Kōya no Shōnen Isamu, also known as Wilderness Boy Isamu, Cowboy Isamu, The Rough and Ready Cowboy and Kid Of The Barren Lands Isamu), is a Tokyo Movie Shinsha shōnen anime series.
It is an adaptation of the manga Boy King (Shōnen Ōja) by Sōji Yamakawa and Noboru Kawasaki, published in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Shingo Araki and Daikichiro Kusube cured the character design, while Hayao Miyazaki was in the team of animators. The series consists of 52 episodes and was originally broadcast on TBS.[1][2]
