FC Vushtrria (in Albanian Klubi Futbollistik Vushtrria) is a football club based in Vushtrri, Kosovo.[a] The club was founded in 1922 and they play their home games at the Ferki Aliu Stadium which has a capacity of 6,000 supporters. Since winning promotion to the Raiffeisen Football Superleague from the First Football League of Kosovo in 2005. The most notable players to have played for the club have been former Albania internationals Armend Dallku and Ahmed Januzi.

In 2012 the club has been owned by local steel galvanising plant, Llamkos GalvaSteel and they changed their name from Kosova Vushtrri to Llamkos Kosova due to these ownership and sponsorship reasons.[1] When the club was taken over by Llamkos GalvaSteel and the Core Group, there was immediate investment made which resulted in the club winning they 2013–14 league title, which was the first in its history. Llamkos GalvaSteel then distanced itself from the club as did the club's owner Jeton Sadiku, leaving the financing and management in the hands of the Vushtrri municipality. On 6 December 2014 Bekim Pantina was elected as the head of the club and the name reverted to KF Kosova Vushtrri.[2][3][4]

Notes

a. ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. The two governments began to normalise relations in 2013, as part of the Brussels Agreement. Kosovo has received recognition as an independent state from 110 out of 193 United Nations member states.
