Karan Tacker is an Indian actor and model. He is well famous for his role of Viren Vadhera from the popular Star Plus serial Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2014.

Personal life

Karan Tacker was raised in Mumbai with his elder sister Sasha. He acquired a degree in Business Management before turning to television.

Career

He first appeared in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in a short role in 2008. He then got his first debut role in television show Love Ne Milla De Jodi playing the lead role of Sameer which aired on STAR One. Karan has appeared in television shows like Rang Badalti Odhani as Shaantanu Khandelwal, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai as Viren Singh Vadhera. Karan has appeared on famous dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in the 7th Season of the show along with his dance partner Bhavna and was declared first runner up of the show. Karan has also hosted The Voice (Indian TV series) that airs on &TV and Halla Bol on Bindass. Karan has also hosted many award shows and events. Karan has appeared in advertisements also.[2] Karan is all set to appear in his first Bollywood movie, however he has appeared in a short role in Shah Rukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.[3]
