Sidhant Gupta is an Indian film actor and super model. He is mainly known for his role as Kunj Sarna in Zee Tv's Tashan-e-Ishq and other role in Badmashiyaan.He is a fashion and print model, based in India (Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore). He has worked on various diversified projects which also includes walking the ramp for some of the leading designers.
Early life and education
Gupta’s hometown is in Jammu. He represented J&K in national level under-14 cricket, under-17 swimming and under-19 basketball.[1] Later he went to Delhi for ground studies for CPL. He has an elder brother who is a fashion designer by profession and also designs clothes for him.
Career
Gupta has done few commercials for Hero Honda, Clear Shampoo and Close Up. The major chunk of his modeling work includes some of the biggest names and projects : Wills India Fashion Week 2009 ( Varun Bahl), Delhi Fashion Week 2009 ( Grand Finale - Rohit Bal), NDTV'S unveiling of 7 wonders of India 2009 (Sabyasachi Mukherjee), Raghavendra Rathore, Cover shoot for India Today,Levi's, Lawrence and Mayo,Times Of India,National campaign for central shopping mall,Tata AIG Life Insurance,Anoos's Beauty Spa,Federal Bank,Deccan Chronical,Confetti - Lifestyle Magazine (Cover Page),Commercial for fair glow,Bangalore Marathon,Internetworks Technology,Studio One & many more.He has also won "India's Super Model 2007" by TEF. His debut movie was Badmashiyaan, where Gupta’s character[2] as Dev was described as "a hopeless romantic who always wears his heart on his sleeves"[3] and "the cute guy every girl would love to take home."[4][5] Gupta later decided to continue his acting career with television show Tashan-E-Ishq which has been doing great on the TRP charts.[6] At the Zee Rishtey Awards 2015, he bagged the award for Favourite Nayi Jodi with Jasmin Bhasin.[7] Gupta was a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 9 along with his choreographer Pranalini Atul.
