Karunamayi (Kannada: ಕರುಣಾಮಯಿ, English: Merciful) is a 1987 Indian Kannada action drama film directed & co-produced by H. R. Bhargava and written by Kakolu Saroja Rao.^[1] The film starred Vishnuvardhan^[2] and Bhavya in the lead roles along with Tara, K. S. Ashwath and Shivakumar in the supporting roles. The film's music is scored by Rajan-Nagendra whilst the cinematography is by D. V. Rajaram who also co-produced the film.^[3]
