Kentucky Route 640 (KY 640) is a rural, secondary, north–south state highway that is 16.723 miles (26.913 km) long and located entirely in Metcalfe County in South Central Kentucky.
Route description
KY 640 begins in Summer Shade, Kentucky at a junction with KY 90. KY 640 goes northwest to intersect KY 1330. KY 640 continues to parallel the Barren–Metcalfe county line, staying on the Metcalfe County side. It then crosses the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway before intersecting the concurrent U.S. Route 68 (US 68) and KY 80 at Wisdom. KY 640 continues as Knob Lick–Wisdom Roads and reaches its northern terminus at a junction with KY 70 near Knob Lick.[2]
