Kilaneh (Persian: كيلانه, also Romanized as Kīlāneh and Keylāneh; also known as Kīfaneh, and Gīlāneh)[1] is a village in Abidar Rural District, in the Central District of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,008, in 263 families.[2]

This large village is one of the places the residents of Sanandaj go to on picnics because of its very beautiful nature, especially during Spring. During the Iran-Iraq War this village was bombarded several times by the Iraqi Air Force, resulting in many dead and wounded among the residents.
