ThunderBird Rock Carved Petroglyph in Western Wisconsin
The Lemonweir Glyphs (or petroglyphs) are in the National Register of Historic Places listings for Wisconsin in Juneau County.[1] Located in the Driftless Area of Western Wisconsin, access is privately owned and "guarded" to prevent further degradation and graffiti vandalism. The work dates from a time before the Ho-Chunk people, though it bears a striking resemblance to the emblem of the Anishinaabe people.
