C. Mac McCutcheon is the speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives. He is a Republican who was first elected to the state legislature in 2006.[1]
McCutcheon has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from Trinity University.[1] He was a police officer in Huntsville, Alabama prior to his election to the state legislature.[1] He has also worked as a farmer and is a member of College Park Church of God.[1]
