Madhupur (Bengali: মধুপুর) is a town of Madhupur Upazila, Tangail, Bangladesh. The town is 51 km northeast of Tangail city, 47 km southwest of Mymensingh city and 137 km northwest of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh.

Demographics

According to Population Census 2011 performed by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, The total population of Madhupur town is 56,342.There are 13713 households in total.[1]

Education

The literacy rate of Madhupur town is 56.7% (Male-58.7%, Female-54.5%).[2]
