Maniac is an upcoming American dark-comedy television series by Cary Fukunaga, with the main roles played by Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. The show is set to air in 2017 on Netflix.[1] The project was ordered to series on January 23, 2016.[2] In October 2016, Patrick Somerville was tapped to write the series.[3]
The Norwegian original is created by Espen PA Lervaag and Håkon Bast Mossige.
Plot
The series is based on a Norwegian comedy series of the same name from 2014. The show is about a man living a fantasy life in his dreams, who is actually locked up at a mental institution.
