Martur is a village in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Martur mandal in Ongole revenue division.[1]
Geography
Martur is located at 15°59′10″N 80°06′15″E / 15.98615°N 80.10405°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 30 meters (101 feet).
Assembly Constituency
Martur was an assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh since 1952 to 2004 except few years in between. The Assembly constituency was abolished in the year 2009 due to delimitation of Assembly and parliamentary constituencies.
