The discography of American alternative rock band Mazzy Star consists of four studio albums and ten singles. The group formed in 1989 from Opal, with guitarist David Roback and bassist Kendra Smith. When Smith left the band, she was replaced by vocalist Hope Sandoval. Mazzy Star's first studio album was She Hangs Brightly, released in 1990 on Capitol Records. It was certified gold in the United States and spawned two singles, "Halah" and "Blue Flower."

Their second album So Tonight That I Might See was released October 5, 1993. It reached No. 36 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the US, and No. 68 on the UK Albums Chart. The band released three singles from this album: "Fade into You", "Five String Serenade" and "She's My Baby". Although never officially released as a single, "Into Dust" reached No. 71 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2009 following download sales resulting from the song's use in a cellphone commercial. The track later reached a new peak of No. 47 in October 2011 when it was featured on the U.K.-exclusive trailer "Dust to Dust" for Gears of War 3.

On October 29, 1996, Mazzy Star released their third album, Among My Swan which reached No. 68 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the US, No. 57 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 41 on the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand albums chart. Two singles were released from this album: "Flowers in December" and "I've Been Let Down".

Their fourth studio album, Seasons of Your Day, was released on September 24, 2013 and reached a career-high peak of No. 24 on the UK Albums Chart. Five songs from the album have so far been released as singles, "California", and the double a-sided singles "Common Burn" / "Lay Myself Down" and "Seasons of Your Day" / "Sparrow." On April 19, the band released two new songs as part of Record Store Day 2014, "I'm Less Here" backed with "Things".[1][2]
