Michael Harty (born 1952) is an Irish independent politician, and Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency. He was elected to the Dáil on his first attempt, at the 2016 general election. A general practitioner based in Kilmihil, County Clare, he campaigned on a 'No Doctor No Village' platform to reverse the decline in the income of rural GPs.[1] Then he voted Enda Kenny as Taoiseach.[2]
