Morgan Harper Nichols (born February 4, 1990, as Morgan Novelate Harper), is an American Christian musician, gospel music recording artist, songwriter and guitarist. Her first album, Morgan Harper Nichols, was released by Gotee Records in 2015. The albums first song, "Storyteller", was with her sister Jamie Grace featured on the track.
Early life
She was born in Los Angeles, California on February 4, 1990 as Morgan Novelate Harper,[1][2][3] the daughter of a preacher, Bishop James Henry Harper,[4] and his wife, Pastor Mona Nanette Harper (née, Tellis).[1][5] Morgan and her younger sister, Jamie Grace,[6] were homeschooled while growing up in Atlanta, Georgia.[7][8] Her parents pastor Kingdom City Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia.[9] She obtained a Bachelor of Science in English, while now pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in creative writing.[10][11]
Music career
Her music recording career commenced in 2015, with the album, Morgan Harper Nichols, and it was released by Gotee Records on May 19, 2015.[12][13][14]
Personal life
She is married to Patrick "Kekoa" Nichols, a Hawaiian,[15] who was born in Alabama on March 1, 1990,[16] and together they reside in Atlanta, Georgia, where he's a carpenter by trade and studying to become a counselor.[10] The couple were married on October 17, 2010.[10]
