Muratlı is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated at 37°02′N 34°59′E / 37.033°N 34.983°E in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) to the northeast of Tarsus and the junction of the motor ways and . The village is slightly elevated with respect to the plains. Its distance to Tarsus is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) and to Mersin is 41 kilometres (25 mi).[1] The population of Muratlı was 176 [2] as of 2012. Main economic activity is agriculture and grapes is the major crop of the village.
