Nová Ves is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.15 square kilometres (1.60 sq mi) and had a population of 179 (on 28 August 2006).
Nová Ves lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) south-east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 44 km (27 mi) east of Jihlava, and 149 km (93 mi) south-east of Prague.
