Nucleocosmogenesis

Nucleocosmogenesis is a scientific term first coined and published by George Gamow, renowned biophysicist, in the 1920s. According to his definition, nucleocosmogenesis is the process by which chemical elements are created out of more fundamental components in the cosmos. The modern term for such processes is nucleosynthesis.
