Nusrat Jahan is an Indian Bengali film actress and model.[1][2][3] Jahan's screen debut was in Raj Chakraborty’s Shotru. She appeared in the film Khoka 420 under the banner Eskay Movies. Her other movies include Khiladi with Ankush, Sondhe Namar Agey with Rahul Bose and Power with Jeet under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films.

Early life and education

Jahan was born in a Muslim family in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She completed her schooling from Queen of the Mission School in Kolkata and then completed her B.Com degree from Bhawanipur College, Kolkata.[4]

Career

Nusrat Jahan entered the glamour world after winning a beauty contest Fair-one Miss Kolkata in 2010. She made her Tollywood debut in film Shotru with Jeet. A couple of years later she starred in her second film Khoka 420 with Dev. Her next release was Khiladi opposite Ankush Hazra. After that she appeared in two item songs, namely "Chiken Tandoori" from Action and "Desi Chhori" from Yoddha - The Warrior. She next appeared in Sondhe Namar Agey with co-star Rahul Bose. In 2015, she featured in the comedy film Jamai 420 with Ankush Hazra. She then took part in the theme song of BCL (Bengal Celebrity League) namely "Midnapoor Mighities" with Dev and Sayantika Banerjee. Her eighth film Har Har Byomkesh was released in 2015. She then appeared in director Rajib Biswas' film Power with Jeet and Sayantika Banerjee. After some days her comedy film released with Dev, Jishu Sengupta, Ankush Hazra, Mimi Chakraborty, Koushani Mukharjee & Sayantika Banerjee namely "Kelor Kirty". Her upcoming release is Love Express opposite Dev. After that she got chance in Zulfiqar directed by Srijit Mukherjee.
