PNS Hurmat is a Hashmat-class submarine of Pakistan Navy, commissioned on 18 February 1980.[1] Hurmat's design is based on the Agosta class built by France initially for the South African Navy. The boat was not delivered due to sanctions imposed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 418. The submarine was later sold to Pakistan along with sister ship PNS Hashmat.
