Palais Renaissance

Palais Renaissance is a shopping mall located on Singapore's main shopping belt on Orchard Road[1] next to the Thai Consul in Singapore. It was completed in 1993 and is owned by City Developments Limited.[2] Palais Renaissance mainly houses upmarket branded boutiques and shops such as CYC The Custom Shop, Lula Rock, Passion Hair Salon, PS.Cafe, Steinway Gallery and Tyan.

Palais Renaissance is a 17-storey development with 13 floors of office space, four levels of exclusive retail space, and two basement floors for carparking. The development consists of 48,564 sq ft (4,511.7 m2) net of lettable space.[3]

Embassy of Peru is located on the 12th floor of the building.

From 2008 to 2009, Palais Renaissance embarked on a SGD$16 million upgrading exercise.[4] The highlight of the upgrade was a world’s first – double-skin glass façade with musical dancing lights[5] which was created as by renowned design consultant Kajima Design Asia. The dancing lights are the creation of award-winning architectural lighting designer from Light Design Inc, Hiroyasu Shoji, as his debut project in Singapore.
