Paolo Lacizi
Paolo Lacizi was a canon regular of the Lateran Congregation who converted to Protestantism and fled with Peter Martyr Vermigli. He was from Verona. He was made a public preacher by the Congregation in 1537. As Vermigli's vicar at the Basilica of San Frediano, he fled with him to Strasbourg where he was made chair of Greek at the Senior School. His knowledge of Greek impressed Martin Bucer and Heinrich Bullinger. He died 1544.[1]
