The New Generation Party or Malay: Parti Generasi Baru, (NewGen Party in short) is a political party in Malaysia. The party was among the latest 20 new parties registration approved by the Registrar of Society (RoS) in 2013.[1] NewGen Party was founded by former Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) leader S. Gobi Krishnan who aims for youth with age under 50 year old and qualification above Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) for membership.[2] NewGen Party being the first Indian Malaysian national bilingual[3] and multi-racial party hope to join Pakatan Harapan (PH) to represent Indians. [4]
