Pine Tree Independent School District is a public school district based in Longview, Texas in the United States. Pine Tree ISD serves western portions of Longview.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[2]

The district mascot is Petey the Pirate. School colors are blue and gold.
History
Pine Tree, Texas was first settled in the mid-1840s. The school was operating in the community in the 1850s. Growth was slow but stable, with agriculture being the primary source of income through the turn of the century. By the early 1940s, Pine Tree was an election precinct and a school district. After WW2, Pine Tree became part of Longview.
